Today we headed down to San Diego in our rental car a Chevrolet Trailblazer and that was pretty good -only 2 wrong turns but thank god for the GPS it got us to where we needed to go each time. We are staying at the Holiday Inn just .4miles from Seaworld and it is very nice. We headed out to the Zoo as this was part of our pass we purchased and we had a great afternoon. We had a little bit of rain and it was quite cold but the zoo was awesome and we got a bus around it to see most of the animals and then took a Skyrail up to see the polar bears. We got back to the hotel and the kids went upto the room and we had a walk around the block. We found a restaurant called Phils BBQ and there were people queuing out the door so we came back and got Matthew (Emily didnt want to go) and headed back to Phils and it was worth the line up. Famous for its ribs and the meals were huge and so cheap. We loved it. You can see on the pictures that Matthew was looking real happy standing in front of the flamingos but cheered up after we came out and we caught up with this little squirrel.
