Last night we went to see the Tournament of the Kings which was really great. It included a meal that you ate with your hands and a show of the medieval times - lots of audience participation - kids loved it. Then today Tim and I went and saw John Edwards which was fantastic. He did readings for close to 2 hours and it was unbelievable. The kids stayed at the hotel and went down to the arcade room and played games. Then tonight we went to the Rain Forrest cafe for dinner which was good food - a little more expensive but great set up and then off to Fremont street on the Deuce bus. The bus took nearly 45 mins to get there as there is so much traffic and so many sets of lights but wow when we got there. It is this mall which has this arched roof on it which projects images on it and on the hour every hour all the lights of the casinos and shops go out for a show on the screens above with music pounding - whilst we were there we had Don Mclean singing Bye Bye miss American Pie then the next hour it was a tribute to Queen and the last one we say was Kiss - and the sound system is pounding. Heaps of street entertainment and shops and more casinos. Great atmosphere - loved it!
